Town Reports and Webster History

“There has always been a strong link between preservation and access. The major objective of preserving the information content of traditional resources is so that they can remain accessible for both current and future generations.”  Digital Preservation Coalition

Webster History Reports, 1984 through 2014

The earliest reports, specifically 1860, 1861, and probably 1862, are all titled Boscawen.  Apparently Webster did not produce a separate town report until 1863.

Please note that the scanning was non-destructive – meaning I could not take the reports apart to scan them.  The result is that the scans are not pretty, but they should be legible. All are in downloadable PDF format. (If you have problems, please use the Contact Us page to notify the webmaster.)

Vital statistics (for 1887) first appear in the 1888 Town Report; the Town Warrants first appear in 1920; and Town Meeting Minutes first appear in 1969.

Read the Town Reports and Town Hall Meeting Minutes in the Webster digital Archive on Google Drive, Town of Webster folder.
